About the Artist
Darnell Barnes started playing keyboards for local bands in Indianapolis, Indiana and became a renowned keyboardist on the city's local music scene. During Darnell’s music career, he has shared the stage with professional musicians such as War, After 7, and Baby Face & LA. Darnell's love for music gained him much noteriety locally-winning competitions and performing across the area as a much requested musician.
He moved to California and elevated his musical career by forming his own group known as The Jazz Xperience. After another successful season as a local favorite, Darnell changed his focus to include song writing, desiring to create great music for other professional musicians in the industry.
Darnell has written and produced several albums and is currently promoting his new release, "Smooth As Silk" which is already a fan favorite. He is happy to share this completed work with you here on his website. Darnell invites you to listen and enjoy. You will truly be glad you did!
